One of my favorite picnic spots in Edmonton is Hawrelak Park, a scenic gem in the heart of the city. With its peaceful lake, wide open green spaces, and shaded picnic areas, it’s ideal for relaxing weekends. Whether you’re biking the trails or enjoying a quiet lunch by the water, it’s a refreshing escape. To get there, follow Groat Road and turn onto Emily Murphy Park Road, which leads directly to the park.
